Meet-the-artist event with the director Andrey Moguchy

The conversation will be dedicated to the work of Andrey Moguchy, the features of his artistic method and pedagogy, significant projects and major personalities that influenced the director and his work.

Andrey Moguchy is a theatre director and a teacher. He is the founder of the independent theatre group Formal Theatre (1990), director of the Alexandrinsky Theatre (2004-2013), artistic director of the Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theatre (2013-2023). In the Bolshoi Drama Theatre he has staged the performances "Alice", "What Is to Be Done", "The Drunk Ones", "The Storm", "Governor", "The Three Fat Men. Episode 1. Uprising", " The Three Fat Men. Episode 2. Iron heart", " The Three Fat Men. Episode 7. Teacher", "Mother's Heart". He is the laureate of the European Theatre Award, the International Theatre Award named after K. Stanislavsky, a multiple winner of the Russian National Theatre Award "Golden Mask" and other professional awards.
