Company Vértice de Teatro (Brazil)

For the first time in Russia!

Duration — 3 hours 20 minutes with intermission.

It contains an erotic scene.

Laureate of Shell Award (Christiane Jatahy for Best Director, Stella Rabello for Best Actress) and APTR Award.

This is not a performance or a film. It is both at once. In one evening, viewers will see the production twice - though through different optics. While one group is watching the play, its broadcast is in the next room. At intermission, the audience swaps.

The star of the Brazilian and European scenes, Christiane Jatahy, known for the search for artistic truth at the junction of theater and cinema, is a favorite guest of Comedy Frances, Odeon, and the Avignon Festival. "What if they went to Moscow?" Is her most famous work, staged in her homeland, and kindly criticized around the world. Her three sisters live in modern Brazil, but remoteness from Russia does not prevent them from desperately dreaming of Moscow.

"What magnificent actresses, what an exciting and passionate production!"
El Pais

"Masterpiece. Three Chekhov sisters, lost in Brazil. Funny and tragic. Theatre and cinema. Happiness".
RTBF (Belgium)

“Christiane Jatahy is the new voice of the Brazilian theater ... with a strong influence of cinema. Must-see!”
Le Libre (Belgium)

“Chekhov’s spirit is present even if the director does not follow the text literally”.
