Acting Director of the Platonov Arts Festival Directorate Ilya Skripnikov addressed the audience: "The performance "Brothers Karamazov" is one of the most outstanding events of the festival, it was no coincidence that it should have preceded the main June programme of the Platonov Arts Festival. We know how eager you were to see the production of the legendary Lev Dodin, and it was very important for us to create all the conditions for the meeting of Voronezh audience with the Maly Drama Theatre - the Theatre of Europe. We regret to announce that this meeting has been postponed. The reason for this is the illness of an artist – a circumstance that is impossible to predict and the consequences of which are difficult to assess. We believe that we will soon be able to share good news with you and we are doing everything possible to make this happen. The Platonov festival team continues a great and important work on the preparation of the festival, which annually becomes the largest and most memorable cultural event in the region."

We thank our spectators for their understanding and patience. All previously purchased tickets will be valid: you will be able to see the performance on new dates, which will be announced later.
