The literary programme of the festival since 2012 cannot be imagined without the Book Fair and the reading relay of the works of Andrey Platonov.
The book fair will take place on the Soviet Square from September 25 to September 27. Independent Russian publishing houses will present children's literature, Russian and foreign prose and poetry, Soviet classics, non-fiction, scientific, educational literature, memoirs and biographies, books on history, history of Christianity, modern intellectual literature, books and albums on art, psychology, sociology, problems of special children, philosophy and collected works of outstanding Russian writers and thinkers of the 20th century.
Publishing houses participating in the fair will present their books and books of their colleagues — more than 100 publishers in total.
Schedule of the Book fair:
September 25 and 26 10 a.m. — 7 p.m.
September 27 10 a.m. — 6 p.m.
Registration is open for one of the favorite events of the literary programme of the festival - The reading relay.
The event will take place on September 26 on the Soviet Square from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
The reading relay traditionally brings together the participants and guests of the festival, public figures, and cultural and art workers, residents of Voronezh, and the neighboring cities.
Each participant will receive a small fragment of Andrey Platonov's stories in advance. During the marathon, the readers take turns reading their passage (from the sheet).
Everyone who, together with us, wishes to express interest and respect for the work of Andrey Platonov and take part in the reading relay, should fill out an application by September 10 inclusive.
