Theatre-Plus programme

"Theatre-Plus" is a traditional programme of the Platonov Festival, which combines meet-the-artist events with invited guests of the festival: directors, critics, producers and other representatives of the professional theatre community. The admission to all events is free.

Meet-the-artist event with Andrey Prikotenko

Andrey Prikotenko is a theatre director, since 2017 he has been the chief director of the "Old House" Theatre. He has also staged performances in theatres in Moscow, Riga, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Orel. He is a multiple "Golden Mask" nominee.

"Edip Tsar" at the St. Petersburg "Theatre on Liteiny" (2002) won the "Golden Soffit" award in the "Best Director's Work" nomination and was awarded a special jury prize at the "Golden Mask" festival. At the "Old House" theatre he staged the performances "Sanya, San'ka, Alexander ...", "The Cherry Orchard", "Sociopath / Hamlet", "The Idiot", "Peters". Since 2016 - organiser of the International School of Young Filmmakers of the CIS countries "Commonwealth" in Batumi.

Yuri Butusov - theatre director, chief director of the Vakhtangov Theatre (since September 2018).
