The main programme of the XII Platonov Arts Festival will be held in September

We are compelled to inform you that the XII Platonov Arts Festival, which was to take place in June, has been postponed to September 2022. This decision was made today, April 20th, by the Governor of the Voronezh Region Alexander Gusev and the members of the Board of Trustees of the festival.

We will try to keep the rich and varied programme that was formed and presented to the founders in early April. It includes high-profile events of the current and last seasons, noted by the professional community, and which received the highest awards. Among the participants are the best theatres from Moscow, St. Petersburg and other regions, famous directors and choreographers, musicians performing on the most prestigious stages. About a hundred events, including free events, a literary programme, Theatre Plus, Voronezh Case, laboratory projects and others, were to take place within the frames of the festival. This is more than were held in 2020 and 2021.

New festival dates will be announced soon. Follow our updates on the website and social networks.

The Directorate of the Platonov Arts Festival continues to work as before and very soon will present a special event - the performance of the Maly Drama Theatre - Theatre of Europe (St. Petersburg) "The Karamazov Brothers." The work of the legendary Lev Dodin will be shown on the stage of the Drama Theatre named after A. Koltsov three times: April 28th, 29th and 30th.
