The creation of the Platonov Arts Fund

The Platonov Arts Festival support fund, or the Platonov Arts Fund, has been established in Voronezh. Its mission is to promote the development of culture and art in the Voronezh Region, support the projects of the Platonov Arts Festival and other creative initiatives that can make a significant contribution to the cultural life of the region. Among the goals of the Fund are the support of art festivals, as well as theatre, concert and other creative groups, the creation of joint projects and cultural programmes, the promotion of their tours in Russia and abroad; conducting educational activities.

The managing board and board of trustees, as well as the audit committee of the Fund includes well-known and respected residents, representatives of various professional communities of Voronezh, who share the values of the Fund and wish to contribute to the development of the culture and arts of the city and the region.

Today, the Fund's managing board includes the founder and artistic director of the Voronezh Chamber Theatre, artistic director of the Platonov Arts Festival, member of the Council for Culture and Art under the President of the Russian Federation, adviser to the Governor of the Voronezh Region on culture, Mikhail Bychkov; Rector of Voronezh State University, Professor, Doctor of Economics, Dmitry Endovitsky; chief physician of the Voronezh Regional Clinical Consultative and Diagnostic Centre, Elena Obraztsova; Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, laureate of the Golden Mask Award, Kamil Tukaev; Deputy Director of the International Platonov Arts Festival, member of the Presidium of the Association of Young Managers of the Russian Federation, Ilya Skripnikov.

Vladimir Maslov, founder and chairman of the board of directors of the AGROECO group of companies; Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Voronezh Region, Head of the Organising Committee of the Entrepreneurial Award and Forum named after W. Stoll, Natalia Khvan; Doctor of Law, Attorney-at-Law, Senior Partner at Borodin & Partners, Professor of the Department of Financial Law of the Faculty of Law of the Voronezh State University, Aleksey Paul are in the Board of Trustees of the Fund.

The Audit Committee of the Fund includes Natalya Vlasova, founder and director of the International House Voronezh-Linguist School of Foreign Languages; economist, business consultant, Evgeny Gavrilov; Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, conductor and artistic director of the Symphony Orchestra of the Voronezh Concert Hall, Yuri Androsov.

Irina Alekseeva became the Director of the Fund.

The Fund is a non-profit organisation, its activities are carried out in accordance with the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, the Federal Law "On Non-Profit Organisations", the current legislation of the Russian Federation and the Charter of the Fund.

The Platonov Arts Festival support fund begins its work in February 2022.
