The book fair still holds a title of one of the main events of the festival’s literary programme. It will take place on the Soviet Square from June 11th until June 13th. On June 12th, starting from 12 p.m, a reading relay of the works of Andrey Platonov will be held within the framework of the fair.
The reading relay is one of the favorite for the Voronezh audience events of the literary programme of the festival, which traditionally brings together the festival participants and guests, public figures, cultural and art workers, as well as the Voronezh residents who have submitted an application in advance. This year we will read stories by Andrey Platonov. Each participant will receive a short piece of about 3 minutes in advance. During the marathon, the readers will take turns reading their passage (from the sheet). In total, about 60 people will take part in the relay. Numerous visitors to the book fair and those simply interested in Platonov's works will be able to listen to the readers.
The Directorate of the Platonov Festival invites everyone to take part in the reading relay. You can apply by writing to the e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org with a note "Reading relay" in the subject line. In the letter, please indicate your name, age, profession, contact phone number, and also tell us about yourself and your hobbies. If you have already been participated in the reading relay, please mention in what year it was. Letters with a photo are preferred. Applications are accepted until June 3rd. The selected candidates will be contacted by the festival literary programme coordinator.
It will be possible to listen to the reading relay participants voicing excerpts from the stories of Andrey Platonov on Sovetskaya Square on June 12th from 12 p.m.
